Abbie Page

Hi there,

I’m sure you will remember my name - from seeing you at Aintree and at Peterborough show ground too!

I told you about my chestnut MAD TB that won after being on your products.

Well, sorry to say I went onto another brand of products. My TB is skinny and totally lacks condition!!  I’m so stupid for trying but the reps hauled me in and got me believing.

Instead of continuing with what I know worked, I swapped!!

I AM SWAPPING BACK and tomorrow I am off to grab a sack of ReadyMash Extra and get it inside the boy before the show season starts!

Please, please accept my apologies but feel you needed to know your products DO WORK and I should have not been drawn in!!

Thanks

Abbie Page

I just wanted to say how impressed I really am with the product - I have an ex racehorse which I always struggled to get the right combination of feed into in order for him to bloom in the showring. I finally conquered this early summer  this year just in time to qualify for HOYS. He really did bloom over the last few months which helped us to go on and win our class at HOYS - so thanks again - I always recommend your product to all those with ex racehorses as it is a fantastic base to all combinations of feeding regime. Never have I seen him look so fantastic!

Thanks again

Best Wishes

Emily Mayman & Scottie

I am contacting you about my veteran who I put on ReadyMash Extra in the new year of 2008 I had known Scottie for over 10 years, but I bought him in the winter of 07, at last! He had poor teeth, an infection in his digestive tract and was suffering malabsorption. His teeth had grown into the gaps where he was missing teeth, which was making things even harder for him. The first vet wrote off his problems due to 'old age' I refused her advice and went with another vet who was fantastic with him, and at least gave him a chance. He went onto antibiotics and I tried every food I could get my hands on for him, but he just could not manage it. He couldn’t eat hay at all, and struggled to even eat a short chop. He had come to be very underweight, but it was getting worse and worse. He was growing increasingly poorly over the next month, which our vet and I knew what was going to happen if it wasn’t going to be sorted out, he just had a week left to show some improvement. His bloods were done, and I fled to the tack shop with my partner the next day, me almost in tears the whole time.

I explained his problem, and went through the whole list of feeds I had tried with him in the last month and a bit which had done no good, id have preferred to have had him on each feed longer to see if they would work, but we didn’t have much time to do that! I had racked up a huge bill in feeds that hadn’t worked already, I gave our merchant the list and said to her simply "please just tell me if you have anything at all, cost isn’t an issue anymore, I have to try all options!" She took my hand and led me to the back barn, she pointed at a clear with red writing sack. She explained many people had their veterans on this feed and it had worked wonders. I expected this to be some horribly expensive feed that wouldn’t do any good apart from profit them or something, but I didn’t want to turn it down. To my surprise, it was at an excellent price. We got the bag home, along with some more fibre nuts to soak and feed for my other horses.

The first night he had the feed, he actually whickered for his tea - something he had never done. He slowly munched through the bowl of food, I sat in his stable praying he would actually swallow it. He had been too poorly to even walk to the field, so he was being kept in. I went to the yard the next day, expecting to be trying to sort through his 'runs' in the stable, yet to my surprise, a solid dropping! I don’t think Ive been so happy to see solid poo in my life!

Over the next week, he slowly munched his way through the feed, and within just a few days, he seemed a bit happier. It seemed the soaked fibre nuts had done nothing for him previously, but with the ReadyMash Extra, it was giving him something really easy to chew and that it was slowly working. Our vet was really pleased! Over the next 6 months, he stayed on the feed, and fantastically put on 60kg - the weight he had lost. He had a new spark come to him that I had not seen before. He got through the winter fine, so I just dropped the feed levels a bit, which put him through the summer. The real test was if he would manage the next winter - thanks to ReadyMash Extra, he did. He is 32 this October, is still on ReadyMash Extra, and still loves it [and so does my other horse who stole it off him on one occasion!]

Scottie and my horses moved to our own yard, so I now buy all my feed in bulk. He now gallops and frolics around the field with my 5 and 8 year old. He never did this before ReadyMash Extra saved him.

Joanna Wilson Hunter & Ben Mhor

When my 38 year old horse became ill in December I thought after 36 years together it was time to let go but after some antibiotics and my vet not giving up on him he told me to try ReadyMash Extra. After trying to get him to eat for over a week with no success my husband went chasing round feed merchants to get this feed I had never heard of so we tried it with him and he slowly regained his appetite .He loves this feed and it’s so easy for him to eat with his teeth all being worn down.  He is now back to his old ways and he is still the boss with my other horse who is only six, so thanks for a great feed.

Ben and I had a fantastic time at HOYS. Ben was double the age of many of the horses in the Heavyweight Show Hunter of the Year class but didn’t look it. It took us 12 hours to travel from Caithness in the North of Scotland to Birmingham and when Ben stepped off the lorry he still looked in great condition. I have been feeding Ben your ReadyFibre Mash and Sumo Power which I think has contributed to him not tying up whilst travelling and remaining in such great condition even after such a long journey.

Many thanks for all your help and keep up the excellent work.
