My Wife and I have been visiting Oldengraig as Dressage Competitors for several years, and have watched and experienced the centres evolution. From the early days of a small indoor school to the magnificent Centre of excellence it is now. Whilst all of our days at Oldencraig have been enjoyable, today I thought that your centre looked and felt truly impressive. The day started well by being clearly directed to immaculately presented parking, then the ever efficient and smiling Charlotte with her customary welcome, a Coffee from your restaurant, Warm up arena, not overcrowded, and a relaxing atmosphere surrounding the International Arena for our class. We didn't win, but had a really fun to be out time. So many people are often quick to criticise, and few offer praise. Well done Oldencraig, how lucky we are to have such facility in our area. ..... we will be back in search of that win.

Dear Mr. Winfield,
My friend Pam and I (The "Jocks"!) spent last weekend on holiday at Oldencraig. We just wanted to say that we had a great time. We were very well looked after - Ellen was a great help in organising the whole trip; we had really good lessons with Emma and learned alot; and Jag was really good about organising lifts back to the farm for us each night. Everyone was really friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Oldencraig is a beautiful yard with great facilities and great horses. The yard and the horses are clearly well cared for and everyone obviously takes a real pride in their work.
Thanks very much to everyone for having us and making it a such a memorable weekend. Please let us know if you ever think of opening a yard up here!!

Dear Ian and Vicky,
Thank you once again for hosting ‘Strictly’ at Oldencraig and helping us to raise £5000 for the foundation. This will help to fund two new projects in Newcastle and Liverpool, which is fantastic, giving more children the opportunity to ride.
I am so grateful for your continued support and please thank all your staff on my behalf for all their hard work.

Ian has created a‘horse and rider heaven’ - whenever you go onto the yard you can not help but notice how all the horses are incredibly happy and in excellent condition - the stables, yards and facilities are extensive and immaculate. The experienced staff are friendly, helpful and most importantly treat each horse as an individual.
I moved my horse to OEC 4 years ago, when my trainer Vicki Thompson relocated to OEC and have never looked back! Thank you Ian for creating such a wonderful place for us to keep our horses!

My first introduction to Oldencraig was via my girlfriend who insisted on visiting it one Saturday where we were met by Ian covered in mud, paintbrush in hand, working on B block. The facilities and its growing reputation were so impressive then (4 years ago!) that we moved straight away.
As a non rider moving to the centre one of the most refreshing features apart from the quality of the arenas and stables was the attitude of the staff. We were made welcome and found that they made time to explain and put everything into layman‘s terms. There is a genuine interest in the development of both the horse and rider as a team whether you are learning as a novice like myself or riding at the higher levels, with the top riders (resident and liveries) all willing to give advice and assist.
This is a centre that as well as having a great reputation as a competition, training and livery yard still maintains a relaxed family atmosphere where riders, family, friends and supporters are all made equally welcome.
Since moving to Oldencraig I have bought two horses through introductions made at the yard, both of which were exactly as described by Vicki and matched perfectly my requirements of knowledgeable, eye catching and above all safe to learn on.
It‘s been a fun four years and we are looking forward to the many more of them.
