Morag qualified from The British School of Osteopathy in 1998. She has also completed a post graduate diploma in animal osteopathy. As well as treating animals she treats adults and children and has taught at The British School of Osteopathy for over seven years. Human osteopathy has been adapted and tailored to create a safe and effective way to treat a variety of horses and dogs, although techniques can be adapted further to treat all manner of creatures. Animals tend to enjoy their treatment. Horses often fall asleep or lick and chew whilst dogs often want to roll on their backs and lick.
Reasons why you might seek osteopathic treatment for your horse:
- Change in performance
- Generally unsound
- A tendency to go better on one rein than the other
- A reluctance to extend
- Back pain/sensitivity
Morag’s osteopathic patients have included:
- Polo ponies
- Eventers
- Riding school horses/ponies
- Privately owned horses/ponies Morag is happy to discuss individual enquiries.
