Welcome to Jonathan Jacobs

Aims

To provide your horse or pony with a comfortable and completely balanced mouth with the aim of improving its general well being, mastication and comfort whilst being ridden.
Though we think nothing about outlay for shoeing and physio, I regularly attend horses with such poor mouths that it is no wonder that many are unwilling or indeed unable to accept the bit.
Yet the reality, is relatively cheap dental treatment once or twice per annum will not only help ensure your horse/ponies comfort but will also potentially prevent future mastication issues which may be too severe to correct.

About Us

Having ridden and owned horses for over 30 years I am fully aware of the skills required to competently carry out dental work in a non confrontational way whilst also ensuring a comprehensive service at a competitive price.
I trained 5 years ago in the USA at the American School of Equine Dentistry under the guidance of Dr R Hyde DVM, whom with 25 years experience as a vet and dentist can be considered one of the leading worldwide authorities in this specialist area of expertise.
I am based in Potters Bar and work mainly in the counties of Hertfordshire, Essex, Beds, Cambs and Surrey though will also be please to travel further afield if required.

Why use my services?

Experienced – quite simply I have worked on 1000 + patients
High level of Workmanship – removal of all sharp points which can affect your horse/ponies performance/acceptance of the bit and improve mastication
