Former Advanced Event Rider Samantha Champney-Warrener BHSI and BE Accredited Coach, runs a busy competing and training yard near Hailsham in East Sussex. She specializes in the complete training of horse and rider in all disciplines. She also runs a variety of Grid, Dressage, Jumping and Cross Country Clinics throughout the year. Private tuition, (competing or just for fun) on your own horse is another key area for Sam. She teaches both at her yard, in her Olympic size arena or can travel locally out to you.
Sam is currently competing up and coming horses in BS classes, as well as getting some of the other horses that she is selling on behalf of clients out and about.
Sam trained and competed in Germany (Luhmuhlen) for 4 years for the top 3 Day Event Rider Claus Erhorn. Not only did she run his 30 horse yard, competing the young horses in all disciplines, but she also travelled the world as a groom, including to the Seoul Olympics (Where the German Team won Gold) Australia World Championships, 2 European Championships, as well as extensively all over Europe.
Once back from Germany, Sam produced and competed many horses up to Advanced Level in Eventing. Some were sold and went on to compete successfully at 3 & 4 Star level with the World's top riders.
She has been running her own business now for 22 years, and all the horses in her care get the best attention. Horses are taken for Breaking, Schooling, Competing and Selling. Sam is keen to match the right horse with the right rider and has many people on her books looking for that suitable horse!
