Cindy has had a lifetime of experience in Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing.
Cindy started show jumping ponies with the BSJA and was one of the top pony riders in the country.
Cindy then went onto finding, breaking in and producing horses to Grade A, County shows and International shows for 10 years, jumping at Hickstead, Wembley and Horse of the Year show on a number of occasions.
When Cindy married she decided to cut back, move to a smaller yard and sold most of the jumpers, just keeping 2 Grade A’s and decided to change disciplines and start Eventing. Within a year one of the Grade A’s had gone Advanced and Cindy had definitely fallen in love with Eventing. Soon with the support of Owners and producing a yard of 10 Event horses she competed double clear at Badminton and Burghley and abroad on several occasions with small children in tow!
When 3 children arrived Cindy decided to concentrate on Training and gave up Eventing, although was soon fortunate to be offered the opportunity to share and compete on a lovely Advanced Dressage horse and competed at Prix St George and Intermediare.
Cindy has trained many riders over the years in all disciplines from children aged 3 years old to more mature riders at 80 years old, from Pony Club and Grass roots to going on all the way to competing at Badminton, Burghley.
Cindy has also trained riders on medal winning Pony, Junior and Young Rider European championship Teams including her own daughter Emily, who has won 6 Gold, 1 silver and 2 Bronze medals.
Cindy trains riders both individually and in Groups to prepare them for competition or just for fun!
Cindy is now a Selector for the Young Riders Eventing Team and is really enjoying watching and supporting so much young talent.
