Kate Negus Saddlery was established in 1989 and still uses the same full grain leather and unique tanning process. All the leather work is made in Walsall where it is cut, stitched and finished all by hand. Unique to Kate Negus Saddlery customers can build their bridle piece by piece so that it can tailored to each individual horse depending on the shape of its head and its personal needs ie a flash noseband, fancy brow band or gag cheek pieces! Bridles are the main stay of the Kate Negus collection and range from the tradition Hunter Bridle to the highly sort-after Patent Leather Grand Prix Bridle. With the ability to fit from the tiny 12hh show ponies (XS) to the giant 17.2hh= shire crosses there is something for everyone. Also in the Kate Negus range is a variety of breastplates and martingales. From the traditional leather hunting breastplate to the 'design copyright' 5 point breastplate all made is a range of sizes to fit most equines from the hard to fit 14.2hh to the large 17.2hh. All the elastic used for the breastplate and breast girths again is unique to Kate Negus and is the disinctive green with rust edging.
